one stamp two cards!

I had this lovely little Crafters Companion stamp as a pressie from a friend and decided it was time to do some cutesy designs as have a few birthdays coming up for my niece and grandaughter.

I was definitely feeling all sugary, and pink and purple was the theme of the day!!  This was coloured with water colour pencils and mounted onto nesties die cut scalloped circles. I glittered the bubbles with star dust stickles just to add a bit of bling and added some punched flowers and die cut flourishes.

Another version I coloured with promarkers and mounted onto glitter card. The card was made using the grand calibur and grand scalloped square dies.  The little duck is part of the original stamp which has been decoupaged to give some dimension to the card. The recipient of this will be my grandaughter who will be 13 later in the year. - Trying to get ahead as have a lot of wedding invitations on the go at the moment for my daughter lol!

The sentiment stamp is a freebie from the cover of  a craft magazine that I had eons ago.!   I mounted it onto a die cut lacy circle and attached some ribbon behind just to pop if forward and added some card candy to finish.

Just a quickie!

Had to do a quickie birthday card as the time was fast approaching and play time was very limited. Resorted to a few bits and pieces ready made in the cupboard! I think I just about got away with it Phew!
The main image is taken from the graphic 45 paper pad steampunk debutante.
Die cut using labels spellbinders labels one and matted onto co-ordinating card stock. I highlighted some of the white lines using a pen and cut some border edging using iron works spellbinder dies. The cogs are some fabulous embs I found on Happy daze web site. They come in white chipboard so I just triple embosed using copper powder. Then just added a small bronze emb and a some card candy to finish.
Sent this one out to Afghanistan for nephew who is serving in the army.

A couple of Golden Weddings

Mum bless her needed a couple of Golden Wedding cards made up in a hurry as she had been so poorly and couldn't tackle them herself. I just had to go with the flow on these as didnt have masses of time to sort much out. The images were stamped and embossed onto centura pearl card and mounted onto some embossed centura pearl paper. Good old Cuttle bug!!!

More Crafty Creations

A few more of my projects

This one was a bit of a quick make for Mum's Get Well Card. I have used inktense pencils to colour the stamped image and have used a re-cycled message from an older card. The background was a Joanna sheen paper lurking around in my craft box.

Oh Woe!!

Oh woe is my poor old blog!!  Poor neglected little blog stuck in limbo land.!! Never mind I am back after months and months of serious family illnesses, one after another, a new job and no time for blogging. I have however been crafting in the interlude. Just can't put down something that relaxes and takes my mind off my troubles. Any how I have pictures of some of my creations to share.

Three Atcs made for the coven swap. The theme this time was sewing. Groan! - me and a needle do not belong in the same house. However I gave it a go and the results were'nt too disasterous!
